the theme this issue is “Deity”. this is up for interpretation, but pieces should fit the theme. we are happy to see formal query letters but we love informal ones. “hey douchebags, here’s my story,” works just as well as a publication list.

one submission per writer per issue. we accept fiction, poetry, hybrids, nonfiction, and things which do not fit any of these categories. we accept translations and (out of circulation) reprints. we expect you to have read the general guidelines, but we have accepted outside them before.

we pay per submission. to waive your submission payment, mention this in your email. the more people who donate or waive their payments, the more submissions we can accept. submissions are initially capped at 75 this issue, because your EIC is dreading next year’s tax season.
